These folks have obviously never spent time in either South Korea or Japan. In Japan, it is routine to see business guys being essentially dragged out of bars, puking on themselves, by their secretaries.
To be clear this was 20 years ago, so maybe it's changed.
Some of our best were never not drunk.
It was considered an essential part of the job.
