Anyway, the GFC didn't radicalize anyone.
Goldman Sachs' Paulson & Kashkari driving the 970 million bank rescue showed young men with limited opportunities the virtue of hard work.. if Treasury cronies fund it.
Horatio Alger ftw!
Sports betting should be made illegal again, and other surrounding platforms (crypto/prediction/etc.) need a lot more oversight 🫠

it's basically all suspect, lol
But instead, he ran the business badly and bankrupted it.
How much was him ripping off his partners, vs the other way?

An S&P 500 Index performed about twice as well as the hypothetical 60/40.
60/40 would be for someone near retirement, not a young, risk-taking investor.
Come on. This insults the intelligence.
tbh with a portfolio like that, the odds are pretty good on them failing the "get out before you lose everything" test.
Wow. Stop the presses. Summon the Nobel committee. The textbooks will need to be rewritten. They've just invented the concept of risk tolerance!
But for btc, you are about 2x from last year to now and gme about 3x last year to now.
I'm about 2x on my gme position
It amazes me how many people think GameStop is going out of business
They are on the tail end of a turnaround
e-commerce business? But the retail stores around here mostly shut down when they were distressed and the one that remains still has a distinct Bartertown vibe to it
-Their current ratio is great
-4.6 billion in cash
-3x book value which screams buy
-New deal with PSA
-New private label products like raptor8, candycon and more to come
-Great leadership
-Little debt ~10mil
-Pivoting from to many stores to more E-commerce
Their pivot into graded cards is going to be a hit
and why are they putting gold in there?
this is the weirdest fucking article
a gaming ETF is a smart investment (morality aside, as always) if people are betting, gold equities can be safer than gold itself, etc.
the message to smarter people, not that it's particularly well written or anything, is to invest in riskbros themselves
Which is even more insane to pair with Bitcoin, which will become useless in an end-of-times scenario since there won't be infra to make it usable.
Just louts.
The WSJ continues to devolve under the ownership of #RupertMurdoch
His corrosive influence is no longer confined to the “opinion side”.
Murdoch knows, but he also knows he will be dead soon, and he hates his kids. The one thing on which he and I agree.
Fine until it's suddenly not.
You could set up a similar ETF with ticker BRO, surely.
On the hard-money side of fiat-money-is-a-con, btc is the new gold.
Derided by sophisticates as dumb yellow metal with negative yield.
Market indexed funds are the best way to go for long term investments.
Signs point to yes.
It's a Sign Of The Times, the Bride Stripped Bare, Both Ends Burning, End of The Line.
It should be More Than This, but it's True To Life so Bitter Sweet, maybe.

It's almost as if the system is rigged to sucker the little guy.
I was always confused by it - this is starting to tie things together for me
10% of the commercials were betting.
There was no mental escape while enjoying a sports binge and a thing that required a trip to Atlantic City or Vegas of the past is now finger swipes away on your phone.
Not at all surprised it has taken off like it has. It is sad to think of all the people out there getting fleeced by DraftKings type outfits.
