1) Everyone's just a miserable hump trying to get through their day.
2) Every mayor in the history of the city can best be described as, "ugh, that fuckin' guy."
3) Everything keeps running anyway, and that's beautiful.

One of the perks of my old job at hmv, was when I would work late after hours...
Just me, a serious store stereo, and endless racks of music to enjoy...
The Tron Legacy soundtrack at full blast was a regular go to...
Happy days
Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford
Its straight up a filter in the back of my mind that i run all music through at this point lol
on the topic of social network, have you seen the knick? electronic soundtrack over grimy early 20th century medical drama, soderbergh shooting and editing literally all of it himself.

The score for Conan the Barbarian is likewise excellent.
I'm more of a Pride & Prejudice (2004) and The Duchess person, lately.
I used to listen to Fight Club all the time.
Was there a film before that with the same sound?
Also love Jonny Greenwood's score for You Were Never Really Here.
Also love Cloud Atlas

May I ask, and also for others who listen to film scores regularly, in what context do you listen? Is it attentive listening, where that's all you're doing, or background for working/writing/cooking/making something, or something else?

The mass effect 3 theme hit me hard because it reminded me of the way lux aeterna had dark overtones, periods of uneasy calm, mixed with very distinct chaos and loss of control.
It's the only soundtrack I've ever bought.
Zimmer's Thin Red Line score is an all time fave of mine. As is, Martinez's Solaris and Morricone's Days of Heaven.
The movie is a magnificent mess. The soundtrack is perfect. https://open.spotify.com/album/0jCuKxy96iDfx9JtXKRyXe?si=KiSIdgrARi6XiJImNytuoQ

Does that bother me? Not in the slightest
